Most jobs take 3 - 7 days to complete. If a job must be completed
sooner than 3 days, it will be considered a rush and a slight increase
in price is in order.

There are 2 ways to print cards: Metal Type or Photopolymer Plates:
METAL TYPE...
as seen on this website. Very good cards can be made using metal
type, but it has its limits. As you can see, only a few typefaces
are listed but with at least 4 sizes for each typeface. As time
goes by, metal type wears out and gets dinged, thus causing an imperfect
look creating the paradox of ugly being beautiful, something like
a great love for a 3 legged dog. There's a certain plainness that
gives the card distinction in a cluttered world. Ask about ding
bats & ornaments.
Soon after ordering, a layout will be set up and you will receive
a scanned proof in your email as a jpeg. Cards will be printed upon
your approval and mailed to you.

PHOTOPOLYMER PLATES...
is letterpress in the 21st Century. With the right design, you get
that "warm & fuzzy feeling". With photopolymer plates,
there's no limit to the amount of pressure that can be applied to
the paper for that sunk in debossed effect. Unlike metal type which
can wear out, polymer plates can last for quite a while. Any design
under the sun is accepted. Just email a file. Illustrator is best.
No less than 600 dpi. Photoshop is OK. So is Wordperfect. I have
a lot of digital typefaces in the hard drive, but in the event that
I do not have your type, you can simply send a file of the type
itself or send an Illustrator file under "Outlines". (To
get Outlines, first select it, then go to Type, then click on "Create
Outlines". Now, you can send the file without risk of it being
re-interpreted)
Any file must be in black & white. For any color desired other
than black, mention the PMS color. I have the Pantone Formula Guide
in my shop, so I can mix the colors. No four color projects, please,
but separated colors are OK. Just provide a separate b/w file for
each color and mention the PMS color for each file. Please supply
a preview of any job with more than one color.
